Matthew has created the score for the BBC’s new adaption of Malorie Blackman’s 2001 novel, ‘Noughts + Crosses’. The story is set in an alternate world in which issues of race have been flipped, meaning that white people are oppressed by the black ruling class.

Starring Jack Rowan, Masali Baduza, Paterson Joseph and Stormzy, the programme has been aired on BBC 1 while the whole series is now available to stream through the BBC iPlayer.

The full soundtrack is available on our sub-label Accidental Editions and has been nominated as best television soundtrack by The Ivors 2021 in partnership with Apple Music.
